Competitive Advantage

Competitive advantages are conditions that allow a company or country to produce a good or service at a lower price or in a more desirable fashion for customers. These conditions allow the productive entity to generate more sales or superior margins than its competition. Competitive advantages are attributed to a variety of factors, including cost structure, brand, quality of product offerings, distribution network, intellectual property and customer support.
Peru's main advantages are the following:
Ø  Its leadership in recreational tourism in Peru. Minimum competition is found in this market.
Ø  Launching. Hang glider excursions at main tourist attractions in Peru are a new option to enjoy nature and archeological sites.
Ø  Business agreements with the Monasterio and Machu Picchu Ruinas Hotels in Cuzco, Hotel Paracas in Ica and Tumi Hotel in Ancash. These agreements with hotels in the cities where Airwalk will start doing business are aimed at cutting on infrastructure costs in exchange for institutional advertising.
